A review of the big picture of your book: the plot points, pacing, character development, setting, and story structure.
Editorial Review
This touches on the same details as a developmental edit, but not in as much depth, allowing you to gain professional insight to help improve your manuscript.
Copyediting
A line-by-line edit of your manuscript, reviewing it on a sentence level. This involves correcting spelling, punctuation and grammar errors, as well as improving the flow of sentences.
Proofreading
This is not as in-depth as copyediting. It corrects spelling, punctuation and grammar but it does not go into the flow of sentences or consistency of voice.
Query Review
This involves editing your query letter, synopsis and the first 10,000 words of your manuscript to get your package as good as it can be, ready to submit to literary agents.
