What is an editorial review?
An editorial review examines the overall workings of your manuscript – the building blocks of the story. It covers aspects such as:
- Key plot points
- Story structure
- Voice
- Character development
What is the process?
- You send me your full manuscript
- I compile a report that covers all the developmental elements. This will identify what works well in the manuscript and what could be improved
- Unlike developmental editing, this form of review does not include any in-line comments, but I will highlight key plot points or moments in the story within the report
How much does it cost?
- 50k–70k words = £610
- 71k–90k words = £800
- 91k–110k words = £950
- 111k–130k words = £1100
To book your slot, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required.
